I have no experience with laptops or highly proprietary pre-built machines, though (I build all my machines). ![]() ![]() Usually, they just stick unwanted stuff in there. But, my experience has been universally bad with that. Theoretically, they might fine tune things to better suit their hardware. Besides actual BIOS updates, using anything from the motherboard manufacturer's site is a last resort for me.
